Weight is the single most useful number on a doll listing and the least prominently displayed. It decides whether you can carry it to the bathroom, whether it stays in position without a mount, and whether it lives in your bed or in a bag.
Here is the complete KeHarbor weight chart, grouped by format.
Torso dolls in our range run from 3.9 kg (8.6 lb) for the smallest hip doll to 29.4 kg (64.8 lb) for a full silicone half-body with head. The practical sweet spot for solo handling is 6-15 kg (13-33 lb).
How to test a weight before you buy
Weight on a spec sheet is abstract. Here is a five-minute test that is close to reality:
- Fill a carrier bag with bags of sugar or cat litter until it matches the doll weight. One 5 kg bag of sugar is a good unit.
- Lift it from the floor to chest height, then hold it there for thirty seconds.
- Carry it from where you would store the doll to where you would clean it.
If step three is awkward with 15 kg, do not buy a 20 kg doll no matter how good the photos look.
Weight vs stability
Heavier is not purely a downside. Mass is what keeps a doll from sliding, tipping or needing a mount.
What each weight band changes in practice
| Weight | Handling | Stability in use | Cleaning | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under 8 kg | One hand, easy | Needs a surface or mount | Sink or shower | Small spaces, renters, travellers |
| 8-15 kg | Both hands, comfortable | Stable on a bed or table | Shower or bath | Most first-time buyers |
| 15-22 kg | Lift with care | Stays put without a mount | Bath preferred | Buyers with a dedicated space |
| Over 22 kg | Two-person move | Very stable, near-static | Bath, plan ahead | Display or permanent setup |

Does material change the weight?
Yes, noticeably. At the same dimensions, a silicone body is heavier than a TPE body because silicone compounds are denser. A hollow core or foam filling reduces weight but also changes how the doll feels – most buyers prefer the solid feel and accept the mass.
If two listings claim identical dimensions and differ by 6 kg, the lighter one almost certainly uses a different core construction. Ask before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
What is a normal weight for a torso sex doll?
Most torso dolls fall between 6 kg and 28 kg (13-62 lb). Hip-only dolls are lighter, typically 3.9-14.5 kg, while full half-body dolls with an articulated skeleton run 11-29 kg.
How heavy is too heavy for one person?
Above roughly 20 kg (44 lb) most people cannot lift a doll cleanly from floor to bed height without strain. Above 14.5 kg, plan on a bath for cleaning and a permanent storage spot.
Why do two dolls of the same height weigh different amounts?
Weight comes from material and core, not height. Silicone is denser than TPE, and an articulated skeleton adds mass that a solid core does not have.
